چکیده

Background: According to the guidelines of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) conducted by bystanders, two methods CPR are feasible: standard (sCPR) with mouth-to-mouth ventilations and continuous chest compression-only (CCC) without rescue breathing. The goal herein, was evaluate effect sCPR (30:2) CCC on outcomes in patients out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) patients. Methods: This study a systematic review meta-analysis. Using standardized criteria, PubMed, Web Science, Scopus, EMBASE Cochrane Collaboration were searched for trials assessing vs. after adult OHCA. Random-effects model meta-analysis applied calculate mean deviation (MD), odds ratio (OR) 95% confidence interval (CI). Results: Overall, 3 randomized controlled 12 non-randomized met inclusion criteria. Survival hospital discharge ( SHD) 10.2% compared 9.3% group (OR = 1.04; CI: 0.93–1.16; p 0.46). SHD good neurological outcome measured cerebral performance category (CPC 1 or 2) 6.5% 5.8% 1.00; 0.84–1.20; 0.98). Prehospital return spontaneous circulation (ROSC) groups 15.9% 14.8%, respectively 1.13; 0.91–1.39; 0.26). admission ROSC occurred 29.5% 28.4% 1.20; 0.89–1.63; 0.24). Conclusions: concluded that there no significant differences between use compression only.

Phased chest and abdominal compression-decompression versus conventional cardiopulmonary resuscitation in out-of-hospital cardiac arrest.

BACKGROUND Several methods have been developed to improve the efficacy of mechanical resuscitation, because organ perfusion achieved with conventional manual resuscitation is often insufficient. In animal studies, phased chest and abdominal compression-decompression resuscitation by use of the Lifestick device has resulted in a better outcome compared with that of conventional resuscitation. In...

Dissemination of Chest Compression-Only Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Survival After Out-of-Hospital Cardiac Arrest.

BACKGROUND The best cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) technique for survival after out-of-hospital cardiac arrests (OHCAs) has been intensively discussed in the recent few years. However, most analyses focused on comparison at the individual level. How well the dissemination of bystander-initiated chest compression-only CPR (CCCPR) increases survival after OHCAs at the population level remain...

Chest-compression-only versus standard cardiopulmonary resuscitation: a meta-analysis.

BACKGROUND In out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, dispatcher-assisted chest-compression-only bystander CPR might be superior to standard bystander CPR (chest compression plus rescue ventilation), but trial findings have not shown significantly improved outcomes. We aimed to establish the association of chest-compression-only CPR with survival in patients with out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. METHO...

Chest compression-only cardiopulmonary resuscitation for out-of-hospital cardiac arrest with public-access defibrillation: a nationwide cohort study.

BACKGROUND It remains unclear which is more effective to increase survival after out-of-hospital cardiac arrest in those with public-access defibrillation, bystander-initiated chest compression-only cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) or conventional CPR with rescue breathing. METHODS AND RESULTS A nationwide, prospective, population-based observational study covering the whole population of ...

Extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation versus conventional cardiopulmonary resuscitation in adults with out-of-hospital cardiac arrest: a prospective observational study.

BACKGROUND A favorable neurological outcome is likely to be achieved in out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) patients with ventricular fibrillation or pulseless ventricular tachycardia (VF/VT) on the initial electrocardiogram (ECG). However, in patients without pre-hospital restoration of spontaneous circulation despite the initial VF/VT, the outcome is extremely low by conventional cardiopulm...
